Registered and Licensed as
Investment Advisor, Insurance Agent, Certified Financial Planner

Investment Advisor: I have been granted Registration Approval by the Investment Dealers Association of Canada as salesperson in the category of Registered Representative. I am accordingly employed as an Investment Advisor (I.A.) by an Associated Investment Dealer (A.I.D.)
As an I.A. I am engaged to advise and consult with investors resident in Ontario on their securities investments as may be suitable to their individual personal circumstances. I am permitted to recommend and trade in bonds, shares, trust or limited partnership units, options and mutual funds.
Today, I rarely, if ever, deal in options with my clients who are, for the most part , conservative in their investment behaviour. ( I am also licensed to trade in Commodity Futures and Commodity Futures Options, although I no longer do so as my firm does not offer this service to individuals and I'd prefer not to participate in such with my current clientele.)

Insurance Agent: I am also licensed at Level 2 by the Financial Services Commission of Ontario to offer life insurance to residents of Ontario on an independent agent basis.
I consider the use of life insurance in conjunction with a securities portfolio a common sense complementary investment option and vital to well designed personal financial, retirement and estate planning.

Certified Financial Planner: I been granted a license with the designation of Certified Financial Planner, CFP by the Financial Planners Standards Council (FPSC) which has been incorporated to establish and enforce uniform standards of education, experience, examination and ethics for financial planning practitioners.
Members  of FPSC include: Canadian Association of Financial Planners, Canadian Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, Canadian Institute of Financial Planning, Certified General Accountants Association of Canada, Credit Union Institute of Canada and the Society of Management Accountants of Canada.
